senatorial lust in the airport

first off, i’ll just get the ha ha at yet another ridiculous news story out. senator larry craig
was caught in an airport bathroom for lewd behaviour. this is a republican senator that goes around screaming family values and abolish gays. but he just can’t help himself. and that my friends is what is wrong with the whole conservative we got your morals agenda. because they don’t they are playing conservative america like a deck of cards. this seems to happen more than it should.
and come on you high ups, really, if you want to touch another man, can’t you at least have the discretion to do it somewhere private and not condemn others for doing the same? this guy tried to solicit a police officer in the bathroom by doing the foot tap signal. then put his hand under the stall, etc etc. apparently a series of known secrect code these people use.
then, he plead guilty, but is now saying he didn’t understand what he was pleading guilty for. come on. you are a senator, a law maker, but you didn’t understand what your arrest was, and plead guilty anyway.
that’s just funny. i don’t care who has sex with whom, because a person’s personal life has nothing to do with me. but i hate hypocrisy. i really do.

the preist patrol

another gem formerly posted by the ressurected grave jorg.

does anyone else thing that it is frightening that the feds are training clergy to "quell dissent" during martial law
The first directive was for Pastors to preach to their congregations Romans 13, the often taken out of context bible passage that was used by Hitler to hoodwink Christians into supporting him, in order to teach them to "obey the government" when martial law is declared.
Pastors were told that they would be backed up by law enforcement in controlling uncooperative individuals and that they would even lead SWAT teams in attempting to quell resistance.
Though some doubted the accuracy of this report at the time due to its fundamentally disturbing implications, the story has now been confirmed by a KSLA 12 news report, in which participating clergy and officials admit to the existence of the program.

It was related to the Pastors that quarantines, martial law and forced relocation were a problem for state authorities when enforcing federal mandates due to the "cowboy mentality" of citizens standing up for their property and second amendment rights as well as farmers defending their crops and livestock from seizure.
It was stressed that the Pastors needed to preach subservience to the authorities ahead of time in preparation for the round-ups and to make it clear to the congregation that "this is for their own good."

yes, i have a huge problem with this. don’t think that this is a small scale, for your own good kind of situation. this like, many of gw’s clandestine presidential directives, is purely frightening. they are setting us up to be a government state "in the case of emergency". and considering their ability to create emergencies, i think that it could be whenever.

all those small bricks, building a foundation for our future police state. and the police will be clergy.

but how do they plan to quell dissent in people that are atheist, like myself. they hold nothing over me as far as god threats go. so are they going to gun us down? imprison us? of course, this is worst case senario. i can’t even say unlikely any more. and as i’ve said before, don’t think it can’t happen here. they got their little bricks. baby steps if you will.

more on evangelicals in the military

my dear friend jorg posted this article on the subject.
i don’t know if you have ever heard of the video game "left behind - eternal forces"
it’s a not so lovely game where the goal is to go out and covert the remaining people on earth - or kill them. then the character says "praise the lord"
well that game is in the care packages for the soldiers from osu (operation straight up), a group that’s pushing the lord on the soldiers. oh yeah, and the youngest baldwin, stephen is part of the group. entertainment for the soldiers my ass. damn it, we should have bombed the baldwins like on southpark the movie.
this holy war is out of hand.

karl rove and the straw poll - 2 POS in recent headlines

karl rove leaving the white house. oh what a crying shame for bush boy. in the words of brak, "dont' let the front door hit you in the backside when you leave." well actually, i hope it does. and karl, could you take your little buddy back out on the playground with you? he's been disrupting class under your guidance for more than 6 years.

straw poll? what a load of absolute shit. so to get in, the you have have 35 dollar ticket, which is paid for by the candidates. so how in the heck does that kick off or predict anything? i really think this practice should stop for both parties. get some real choices and voting here. but anyway...
and mitt romney paid for the voting machines and won there, so now some say he is potentially the new candidate, but how about the fact that rudy (mega-gag) and john mc cain (gag more) weren't even there. they did not pay to play, so to speak, but that doesn't reduce the number of people backing them in the real world. except for maybe the sheep. maybe that's what straw polls are for, to get the sheep of the masses to get behind one person so they can be more easily manipulated.
i also think it funny/odd how only 2 out of the numerous reports i read even mentioned ron paul. ron paul was number 5 out of the 10 in the straw poll, yet the media repeatedly just pretend he doesn't exist at all. what a threat to the republican party, a guy with a small but fierce backing that is a constitutionalist, something a lot of them apparently want eradicated. damned constitution.

evangelicals in the military, or rather, be afraid, be very afraid

you know, call me ignorant, but i did not know that this had become a problem until i read this article in the independent interviewing michael weinstein, author of With God on Our Side: One Man’s War Against an Evangelical Coup in America’s Military
seems there are there is and increasing number of military personnel, officers included, who’s goals are "a spiritually transformed military" and "to be ambassadors for christ in uniform." they gently, then forcefully, try to force their version of religion on miltary personnel. for example, one guy said he was a christian, but they said he wasn’t christian enough and put none as his religion on his dog tags as punishment. sometimes, it’s more threatening than that.
the subset of evangelicals is called pre-millennial dispensational reconstructionist dominionist fundamentalist evangelical Christianity. the group makes up 12.6 of our population, which is still a frightening number, especially since they think they are fighting "god’s" war.
that holy war that extremist muslims are fighting? this is their counterparts.
these people are determined to be self fufilling prophesies of armageddon.
this has been a concern of mine for a while, as we seem to be getting more and more people in congress, and private sectors for that matter, that seem to hold this view.
i don’t do religion. i am proud to be an atheist. but, i also defend people’s rights to their beliefs, something this group does not seem to think is an option. for them, it’s all or nothing. either you are with us, or our enemy. they quote luke 19:27 when spoken to about the mater. that’s the parable of the pounds in which jesus says: “go out among the people, and bring back to me those who refuse to accept me as king over them, and slaughter them.”
oh my. we as a civilation have done nothing but tread water and change clothes over the past 2000 years.

damn, sometimes i loathe the day i started paying so much attention to the news and politics. but i’m no ostrich and i want to be aware of who i’m up against. or what.

entertaining news

i must say, this is the most entertaining news i have read in a long time.
Former British spy claims mystic powers
i especially love the fact that homeboy wore a lilac tracksuit on a tv show and proclaimed himself the son of god.

of course,

who am i?
maybe he is.
